Gabriel Carvin is one of the most successful chefs in France to receive his third Michelin star. Though there is little reason to celebrate. The ever-unhappy Gabriel devotes himself only to his kitchen, drinks too much and is married to a woman who is unfaithful to him. He also has hardly any contact with his sons Jean and Nino. When he tries hypnosis, he remembers his loss in a culinary contest from years ago.
