In this documentary, four Zimbabwean refugees find a purpose in their training to become sommeliers in South Africa. When the opportunity arises to compete in the World Blind Wine Tasting Championships in France, their next challenging journey begins. They are given ample opportunity to demonstrate their talents.

During the selection procedure for the South African team to participate in the World Cup Wine Tasting, Jean Vincent is surprised to encounter four black refugees from Zimbabwe. He decides to help these men set up their own team on behalf of their native country and puts them in touch with the flamboyant Frenchman Denis Garrett, once the best sommelier in the world. This documentary follows four men with traumatic backgrounds who are given the opportunity to grow their self-respect, but also the prestige of Zimbabwe and also shows their participation in this elitist (because almost exclusively white) affair. An inspiring, but not very original story, although Coe and Ross manage to keep the suspense during the grand finale.
