Just watched and I loved it. Great performances, a great soundtrack, great camera work and the premise was devilish dark humor. I regret watching the trailer and would rather have gone into it completely blind as it would have been even more surprising. So don't watch the trailer, just watch, this movie is definitely different and therefore definitely worth watching. Thick 3.5*.

Energetic, well-made and excellently played thriller with horror elements. The rom-com-like beginning skillfully misleads the viewer, after which the film strikes mercilessly. Both Sebastian Stan and Daisy Edgar-Jones are fine here. The combination of drama, humor and horror largely works properly, partly due to the tight direction and the beautiful design. Then it is a pity in the end that the film has to play it safe in the last half hour. It doesn't get bad anywhere, but because of this, Fresh lacks that little bit extra to really stand out from the crowd.

What a cool movie. Bizarre story, beautiful plot twists and the right dose of humor. And the girlfriend of the main character who I think copied her role from Lil Rel Howery in 'Get Out'. The savior who goes to investigate on her own.
