The Magical Christmas Shoes plot
Noelle's grandmother sends her shoes filled with candy every Christmas. Her grandmother thinks the shoes will bring good luck, but Noelle was fired once and lost her job with those "lucky shoes" on her feet, so she doesn't believe it. But now she has the shoes on anyway, and promptly steps into a candy store in chewing gum. That seems like bad luck, but she does meet the nice owner of the bad business. And Noelle has an idea to make the store thrive again.
