H Is for Harry plot

Harry is an eleven-year-old British boy who, like previous generations in his family, cannot read and write. Sophie is his very devoted teacher who tries to help him overcome his illiteracy. This documentary follows Harry against the background of the British class struggle for two years. Harry struggles not only to grow intellectually, but also to increase his belief in a better future for himself.
