Phew, what a long sit this was. Beforehand I saw that the film would last roughly 176 minutes, but during the viewing I regularly had to sit out the time. Why? I think I became increasingly irritated by the unrealistic, Chinese propaganda aspects that are abundant in this film. Sure, during the Korean War, China bit it off nicely, but come on: A Chinese war volunteer who perfectly shoots a helicopter out of the air with an American bazooka: very realistic..

Certainly, there were also good aspects to be found in the film: aspects such as sufficient action and violence. However, a negative undertone remained. A plus point is that the Chinese of course just speak Chinese and the Americans American (if you don't mind the horrible American accent haha).
