Burton 'Gus' Guster is about to become a father and tie the knot with his fiancée Selene. However, she has revealed that she is already married but has become estranged from her husband. Shawn Spencer, who masquerades as a psychic detective due to his superb observation and deduction skills, decides to put aside the wedding preparations with Gus and go in search of Selene's longtime lover. Meanwhile, Police Chief Carlton "Lassie" Lassiter struggles with the future of his career.
