An absurd horror film in which director Felix Jordan himself doesn't seem to quite know what to do with it. Dogface is, after all, a bit of everything, with a story that regularly turns itself upside down and takes a different path. It makes for a relatively entertaining whole, despite the terrible acting and the embarrassing concepts that are occasionally shown. Possessed people who start barking like a dog, for example—how on earth did they come up with that? Yet, it is precisely those scenes that create a flawed, crude atmosphere that actually works quite well. Moreover, it doesn't drag on for too long and never comes across as a film that takes things too seriously.
