Clan plot

Life in a silent rural commune where all members are well attuned to each other is disrupted by the arrival of an even more silent young woman. While the commune men and women routinely carry out their work on the muddy land, they are observed from a distance by the newcomer. In an awkward way she makes it clear that she wants to belong to the group. She doesn't seem very welcome.
