Gyokou no Nikuko-chan plot
Nikuko is a single mother, full of lust and pride, with a lot of zest for life. She likes food, jokes and has a soft spot for men who aren't always worth it. After spending half of her life scratching around with her daughter Kikurin, she settles in a small idyllic fishing village and finds a job in a traditional restaurant. Kikurin does not want to be like her mother and her relationship with Nikuko is not always easy. Until the day a secret from the past resurfaces.
