Haunters: The Art of the Scare plot

For years, haunted houses have been one of the most well-known forms of attractions in America. The intent is to terrify the visitor. In America, the so-called "Haunters" convert their barns into professional haunted houses. In addition, the real professionals are also involved, who take the horror experience of these houses even further beyond the border. This documentary offers a glimpse into the world of American haunted houses, including the infamous McKamey Manor.

Interesting registration of a number of people who have an unreal love for their work. The reason why I appreciate this documentary so much is because of the subject and not the quality. It makes me very happy when I see people working in this way on something that really fascinates me (haunted house attractions). I've always wanted to do an "extreme haunt" like that, even though many of them can only be found in America. The undeniable passion that the inventors and makers of such an attraction have for their work is almost heart-warming. Director Jon Schnitzer also sketches the personalities of those people, although I do not rule out the possibility that there is some use for effect. Some individuals are really too special for words (A wedding ring in the shape of a skull while your wife has little interest in horror, really?), but that makes it a bit more interesting than looking at a bunch of rosewater who share his new ideas or opinions. just to sum it up. Russ McKamey in particular, who nowadays frequently seeks out (and has found) controversy, is a special appearance. All in all, the documentary offers few unique insights or innovative information, but it does offer a countless amount of beautiful images, great experiences and love for the profession. I ended the documentary with a big smile on my face.
