Lo Sguardo Oltre plot

Ian McKinley, born in Ireland and naturalized in Italy, plays for the national rugby union team of Italy. Since his early beginnings, Ian's skills suggest his future success in the sport. However, his glittering career ends unexpectedly when he loses an eye at 21 when a teammate hits him with a shoe. Ian's brother Philip wants to help him and sought out Johnny Merrigan, a design student. He subsequently made protective goggles with special features so that Ian could continue to follow his passion. The documentary reveals the brothers' story and why it's important to never give up.
