Sometimes, I Think about Dying plot

Fran lives alone and works in an office where she makes spreadsheets and spends her day almost invisible. She likes to think thoughtfully and melancholy about dying. She questions her existence and the apparent meaninglessness of life. When Fran makes her colleague Robert laugh, Robert develops a romantic interest in her. This opens up spaces in Fran that could take her out of her isolation, but it can also allow in pain that has kept her at bay for a long time.
