Kubas langer Schatten der Erinnerung plot

In the early 1960s, 14,000 Cuban children paid the price of freedom the hard way: through Operation Peter Pan. This top-secret mission was part of an American plan to destabilize the communist country. The main protagonists were the CIA, the media and the Catholic Church, who claimed that the new Castro regime would separate children from their dissident parents. This investigative documentary reveals what the US government was really up to in Cuba.
