"Evil lurks in the holiest of places."

A detective is hired to track down two girls. They ran away from a boarding school run by a church. The detective finds one of the girls and takes her back to the boarding school. There he makes a shocking discovery: a werewolf is chasing the children and eating them.

To be fair, director Thomas J. Churchill is ahead of his fellow colleagues in this series. Of course, that says a lot about the competition, but it was still nice to see an Amityville film that is a bit easier to sit through for a change. The deliberate attempt to actually use practical effects is especially nice, and the acting is not that unbearable. Of course, this is combined with an idiotic story, a boring visual design and a very bare design, which nevertheless still has a very low level. My somewhat positive comment should not disguise the fact that it was still directed with little effort, but compared to the other messes this is still possible.
