Maximilian Schmidt, known online as Shiny Flakes, was arrested in February 2015 for selling $4.1 million worth of drugs. The teenager did this from his room at home. Using his own website and the German postal service, he single-handedly ran an international drug empire at the age of 19. In 14 months he managed to sell a ton of drugs. It is one of the biggest cybercrime cases in Germany and the police still don't know where most of the money is. In this documentary Maximilian tells his story.

Max Schmidt was the inspiration for the television series How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast). As a teenager, he learned online how to hack without leaving a trace. In 2014, he launched a website on which he sold all kinds of drugs (legal and illegal). He even ensured that his website appeared at the top of the search results for the term 'buy drugs'. How is it possible that a teenager single-handedly earned millions for just over a year through global online drug trafficking, and how did the police eventually manage to unmask him? Schmidt, who was released in March 2019, speaks about his operation with a high degree of self-satisfaction and restraint.
