A Pure Place plot
Irina and Paul are brother and sister. Like many other children without parents, they work in the Fust soap factory. In the villa on a Greek island there are two areas, neatly separated from each other. Downstairs, the dirty children work and live in a sort of stuffy boiler room - who, although they make soap, aren't even allowed to wash. Those above, on the other hand, surrender to the activities of the spirit, are cared for, and prepare for the passage to Elysion, the paradise of the blessed, open only to those who are pure. Fust, a superficially charming, handsome man, acts as the spiritual leader of this sectarian community.
