Based on some stories written by Haruki Murakami that take place shortly after Japan was hit by an earthquake and a tsunami. Katagiri [Marcelo Arroyo] is a humble bank employee who is in danger of losing his job because he has not yet managed to collect a loan. He meets Frog [Pierre Foldes] who needs his help to save the world from another disaster. Komura [Ryan Bommarito] is a young colleague trying to understand why his jaded wife Kyoko [Shoshana Wilder] compares him to a soap bubble and wants to end their marriage. The characters walk through what appears to be a dream world, in which all passers-by are drawn as shadows. That may sound intriguing, but this consists of little more than people talking to each other, reminiscing or discussing dreams. I'm sure it's meant allegorically, but I couldn't figure out what it was all about.
