Rosamunde Pilcher - Die Braut Meines Bruders plot
Emma Boyle and her boyfriend Henry run a business that delivers sandwiches to home. A modest inheritance came in handy as seed capital. But just when things are starting to turn out well, Emma unwittingly turns out to be pregnant. Emma is optimistic by nature, unlike Henry, who drains their joint bank account like a thief in the night and runs off. Desperate, Emma seeks refuge with her Aunt Carolin, who runs a physiotherapy practice in Cornwall. Her clients also include soccer player Marc Romney, a childhood friend of Emma.
