Officer Jan Wiegand is shot and seriously injured during a police action in Berlin. Public prosecutor Judith Schrader wants to find and charge the perpetrator at all costs. Since she is having an affair with the victim, she is personally involved in the case and should really leave it to someone else. Together with Commissioner Jochen Montag, she fights against organized crime.
