Conventional documentary about British band The Style Council who used a unique approach to writing music and performing in the early 1980s. Founder Paul Weller and his musical partner Mick Talbot speak at length about this period, as do regular drummer Steve White, singer Dee C.Lee and musicians who were part of the live band. Cogswell has spent too much time on actor Martin Freeman (with fashionable glasses), but music journalist and pop icon Boy George offers interesting additional insights. The interludes of priest, music journalist and former keyboardist of The Communards Richard Coles in which he gives a reading from the lyrics of The Style Council are amusing.
