The Capote Tapes plot
American Truman Capote was a legendary writer with an extravagant lifestyle. He wrote "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "In Cold Blood," and was working on "Answered Prayers" when he died in 1984 at the age of 59. In the latter book, he dissects the New York elite. He has not been thanked for the chapters that have already appeared. Using visuals, animation and new interviews with acquaintances, the profound influence of Capote's unfinished novel is explored.
