The Dutch-Spanish Rocío Wanninkhof is murdered in 1999 at the age of 19. Her mother's former partner, María Dolores Vázquez, ends up in prison without solid evidence proving her guilt. The Spanish population is demanding justice, thinking that María has been convicted for discrimination and her sexuality. Four years later, the lifeless body of another teenage girl is found: Sonia Carabantes. The police find the killer and discover that he is also responsible for the murder of Rocío Wanninkhof.
