What a weak bite this is, really such an 'overall non-film'. Nowhere exciting or any experience.

It is ironic that a film with this theme manages to become soporific.
The "sci-fi" foundation is adequate, but it's poorly fleshed out. Not a scientific approach, but a relatively cheap pre-dystopian approach with a lot of (family) drama and random hysterical stuff. Acting quite lousy, hardly any elaboration. No, not even a nice Netflix snack.
Some kudos for the sometimes alternative imagery, such as the final scene, where you - in line with the rest - expect a happy ending full screen with family members embracing each other, but that is approached differently.

Better than expected. At first glance it looks like a low budget film, but in the meantime the camera work is actually quite dynamic. The plot is typically apocalyptic mixed with some family drama, which doesn't go very deep by the way. In short, it doesn't have much to do, it's fairly predictable, but it looks nice. 2.5*.
