Well I thought this was worth a look. And that was some time ago. There are more movies where reality and dreams are intertwined and you can penetrate other people's dreams, but I actually thought it was quite impressive. I was anxious to see how it would end. I don't think I've seen a movie with Jason Momoa before so that didn't bother me although I thought I saw Johnny Depp.

Nice film about a girl who tries to reach her deceased father through her dreams. An imaginative and fairly adventurous story with beautiful dream worlds that consist almost entirely of CGI, and luckily it looks fine. Jason Momoa is a bit annoying at times, but the film easily looks away.

Film somewhat comparable to the Disney film Project T (original title: Tomorrowland) from 2015 with George Clooney, although I liked that film better than this Slumberland. I think George is a better actor than Jason Momoa, although he doesn't do a bad job here. For the bear that he is, he can be chaotic and at times comical. I don't know Marlow Barkley at all, just like the rest of the cast is unknown to me. Story ok, graphically nothing to criticize and plot successful. All in all a film that I liked better than what I expected. 3.5 *
