The Makes plot

In 1967, director Michelangelo Antonioni planned to make a film in Japan. The project was canceled and Antonioni left for the United States. In 1983 he published the book "That Bowling Alley on the Tiber" containing notes and intentions from films that were never made. In this so-called documentary by Eric Baudelaire, Philippe Azoury, a film critic by profession, plays a non-existent film critic. He discusses Antonioni's films from the Japanese period.
