Il Treno Va a Mosca plot

Sauro Ravaglia, an amateur filmmaker, hairdresser and communist, dreams with his friends about world peace, brotherhood and equality - the Soviet Union. When they get the chance to attend the World Festival of Socialist Youth, they arm themselves with an 8mm film camera for this trip. A true story, built from archive footage, tells of the infectious hope and idealism of communism. But the rose-colored glasses are removed and reality emerges.
