With metre-thick stone walls, crypts and steep spiral staircases, with passageways ending in a wall of freshly laid stones, hiding the secrets of a grueling past, it is almost like a Shakespearean epic tale of a Danish king in a stormy well in Catholic Scotland.

A beautiful landscape with shimmering winds, over the foaming waves at the depths at the end of the world, where the director delivers an impressive product of light and dark, love and hate and heaven and hell.

The use of multiple camera angles makes you feel like a fly on the wall, the rapidly changing settings make you feel insecure, and the scares? ... well, that depends on how drunk or sober you are.

A 6.

Author Bee Travis [Grace Courtney] is persuaded, during a game of "Truth or Dare," to lay her hands on a wall that, according to an old legend, summons the evil spirit of a child once trapped behind it. Unwise, as is the decision to watch this horror drama. It initially creates a somewhat ominous atmosphere, but Rottger's slurring puts an end to that. Another self-proclaimed horror film where you have to make do with vague shadows and annoying sound effects until ten minutes before the end. The denouement is definitely not worth the wait.

A mediocre horror project whose most noteworthy moments appear in the first half hour. The scene in which three teenagers play the game that sets all the events in motion is particularly atmospheric and demonstrates that directing duo Fionn Watts and Toby Watts truly possess the necessary sense. The acting, despite the utterly ridiculous characters portrayed here, is also quite passable. There's not much mystery for viewers to unravel, and it never really gets exciting, but some fans will certainly enjoy the first act. It's a shame, then, that the final phase is rather questionable.
