Kate [Ruth Wilson] falls for the charms of a client [Tom Burke] who has just gotten out of prison and, after a few sex trysts, believes she is in for a serious relationship with 'Blond'. Wilson is convincing as the complex Ruth, but the screenplay by Wootlif and Molly Davies provides little insight into the causes of her relationship problems, especially since the scenes with her parents suggest that she has often thrown herself headlong into a relationship. Based on the semi-autobiographical book by Deborah Kay Davies.
