The El Duce Tapes plot

Filmmaker Ryan Sexton portrayed the life and art of El Duce, lead singer of the infamous shock rock band The Mentors, in the early 1990s. The band was known for appearing on stage in black executioner caps. The members were briefly in the national spotlight after some of their most offensive lyrics were denounced in the US Senate. 25 years later, David Lawrence and Rodney Ascher delve into the long unseen VHS footage in search of clues as to who El Duce really was and what of his disturbing character really was.
