Roona lives in Jirania Khola, Tripura, in a neglected part of northeastern India. She was born with hydrocephalus so large that her head is too heavy to carry on her own. A photo taken by a photographer caught the attention of filmmakers Pavitra Chalam and Akshay Shankar. They captured the story of a humble couple who, through crowdfunding, managed to find the means to have their beloved daughter treated.
