A special film. Not extremely scary, but one with a statement that could easily come from an animal rights organization. The experienced film viewer may not lose sleep over it, but for some it can seem quite shocking. When it comes to people and fear is in their eyes, one can be quite sensitive to a number of things.

So when it concerns people and not animals, when things are completely turned around and when you consider animals as people, only then will it be taken seriously.

The fear of the people, especially that group that had to pass off as cattle, seemed quite authentic to me, well played. Often also the fear of the unknown, the musty stable, the barred fences, the transport in the trailer, ... very strange when you see it from the point of view of people as victims. I even had to think about the transports of Jews during WWII. I was a little less able to place the man with the chain. Was he the version of the traditional dog chained in the woods when one goes on a journey?

Given the interesting theme, you might expect an enjoyable film. Unfortunately, the viewer is constantly dragged from one scene to the next, often meaningless or very brief, only to be returned to the previous scene. This is constantly accompanied by black images that make the transitions between the two scenes. Very annoying. It never becomes exciting or scary because you never really connect with the characters. The viewer receives no information about the characters, and certainly not about the humanoid creatures. Of course, the director's intention is clear, but they could have done much better. Fortunately, the film is only a little over an hour long. 2/10
