Fünf Letzte Tage plot

After illegally distributing leaflets in the University of Munich, Sophie Scholl and her brother Hans are arrested by the Gestapo. While awaiting trial and punishment, they are housed in the Gestapo headquarters. Here Sophie comes into contact with the socialist Else Gebel. She was previously arrested, but her useful services as a secretary for the Gestapo allowed her to postpone her sentence for the time being. Else and Sophie share their cell in Sophie's last five days of humiliating interrogations. A strong bond develops between the two women.
