The Railrodder plot
The Railrodder (Buster Keaton) reads a newspaper in London. A full-page ad that reads "COME TO CANADA!" draws his attention. He promptly throws the newspaper away and jumps into the Thames. Then he resurfaces on the east coast of Canada. Here he is greeted by a sign indicating the direction to the other side of Canada. An adventure over the railway begins.
