"The quieter the street the darker the secret"
Teen Stephanie Hancock has a broken leg and can't leave her house. She is bored and decides to spy on the neighbors. Stephanie starts to suspect that her neighbor Bob is actually the missing serial killer John List. She goes in search of the truth with her friends Danny and Melissa. Trouble begins when Bob discovers the teens are interfering with his life.

Very bad acting, there is no depth in the film at all. Somewhere in the film the daughter says to her father: "look at house number 10 where the man (the killer) is mowing his lawn in a suit". Later in the movie, the boyfriend breaks into the same guy's house but there is number 6 on the door. Just very messy.
The dialogues are nonsensical and without any depth and also illogical.
Finally, I was annoyed throughout the entire film by a hysterical father whose acting quality would not even be accepted in GTST.

Based on the true story of John List, who inspired The Stepfather.
One of the worst movies I've seen so far. The acting is just too laughable for words. The entire movie was probably made on a $25 budget. There is no tension at all, and the whole thing is just terribly amateurish. Quite a shame for a movie based on a true story.
