Onder de Tafel plot

Jacob is faced with the arduous task of keeping his father, who suffers from Korsakov syndrome, from drinking. Hoping that his father will remember something, he decides to travel with him to the bungalow where they spent a holiday twenty years ago. It is in vain. They spend their days together as complete strangers. When the father does reach for the bottle, Jacob makes a radical decision.
