Early 'finger exercise' by Maas and others.
A poor story that unfortunately fizzles out.
Nice to see in the context of 'Dutch Film History', that is.
I absolutely do not share Lakte's opinion that this would be 'genius'.
The fact that this would have anything to do with 'Psycho' seems to me to be nonsense of the highest order!
I think Hitchcock would turn in his grave if he read that... 
And Maas wishes he had made a film that could measure up to 'Psycho', I guess...

Despite the theatrical appearance of the characters - Frans Mulders in the first place with his elevated language - I actually enjoyed this short by Dick Maas. Excellent casting also with the two other protagonists.
Nicely psychotic where unsuspecting passers-by are lured into a trap and handed over to a (pseudo) surgeon (retired). The fascination of father and son is great and adds to the atmosphere and gravy of the film.
Beautifully shot in black and white, excellent film by Maas who later developed this further in some of his films.
