You can guess from the poster that this isn't an A-movie, but my god this was bad.

You just don't get anywhere in the story. Except for the camera work (0.5* extra for that) it's all rubbish. The acting, the characters, the music, superfluous scenes that really don't add ANYTHING to the story, and then the story itself that doesn't even bother trying to be original.

Despite already drastically lowering my standards during the pandemic, and despite its short running time, this film has managed to make it a horrendous sit. I really had to fight between not falling asleep and not stopping the movie prematurely. It's been a long time since I was this happy that a movie was over.

And Bruce Willis... please cut it. The umpteenth flop in a short time. I'm definitely not looking forward to a Bruce Willis movie anymore.

underrated.

Cosmic Sin is certainly not the best film, but the numbers it gets now are very exaggerated. It is a somewhat cheap film that does try to radiate some passion. It only gets a secondhand feel by pasting Willis and Grillo on the front. On the other hand, these are his marketing strategies.

Also think that the film gets very limited and downright strange criticism, such as that Willis only appears for 5 minutes. I've seen him pass by a lot. Whether he plays a good role with that is another story. It's a pretty safe role for him, and the same goes for Grillo. Other actors are also B-level, but they seem to be trying somewhere.

I thought the look of the movie was quite okay. Pretty nice decorations and presentations of the scenes. The action isn't exactly spectacular, but I still thought the build-up was fine and it was a lot of fun. It's just a shame that the direction remains too distant during these scenes, so they can't really impress. The second half is part of a relatively messy story, so that the film does indeed break down somewhat.

Still entertaining and sometimes entertaining. For Willis, acting isn't the best he's made, but among the boring mess he delivers these days, I still find this an uplifting thing. The directing is just not really involved enough, and they should have hired another writer who can write these kinds of movies to a normal ending. Just simple entertainment.

Unlikely bad science fiction film with a completely incomprehensible plot, bizarrely bad acting and negligible design and special effects. Bruce Willis is clearly not there mentally (and clearly not on set with the rest of the cast) and mumbles a few sentences here and there. Editing is done around him in an attempt to integrate his role into the rest of the film, but it's impossible. Shameful and with retroactive effect deeply sad, now that we are now aware of Willis' clinical picture.
