One of the better Disney shorts from the later years. The romantic story of a young man who meets a woman with love at first sight. When he loses her immediately but sees her again a little later, he wants to go all in. The visuals speak for themselves, presented simply through black and white with a touch of red. Furthermore, the music complements the visuals. Wonderful animation!

A short Disney film, and a bit sweet, but not unpleasantly sweet. The short film, only seven minutes long, tells a very familiar story and does so in a nostalgic guise.
A nameless, likeable, and somewhat clumsy man meets a likeable woman, also nameless but with a dazzling smile. Love is in the air, but fate intervenes and tears the pair apart before the man can speak to her. It is, of course, obvious that the two will meet again. In an entertaining way, the film builds towards that beautifully staged miracle.
A conventionally old-fashioned-looking little story that is told pleasantly. With only two main characters, who are on their way to each other, accompanied by a simple, cheerful melody. A story told without dialogue and exclusively through vividly rendered facial expressions and gestures. In nostalgic black and white with a touch of red here and there. With figures that appear to be drawn in the classic style. It is a pleasant illusion. All these elements are combined into an entertaining short story that is even a little moving.
