Never Weaken plot
"A skyscraper romance, starting with a laugh and ending with a thrill. It's a great life!"
A young man has found a particularly inventive way to communicate with his lover who works in the same skyscraper as he does. By hanging out the window and, for example, using a fishing rod to hand her a ring, they can work on their romance in the boss's time. But then the osteopath who employs his sweetheart says that he will have to close his practice due to lack of clients. As a result, she will end up on the street and it will be very difficult for the boy to see her that much. He then devises a clever plan...

One of Harold Lloyd's best films. The highlight is when he looks up the spelling of a word in the dictionary while writing the farewell letter. 
I saw the 29 minute long version.

Very nice Lloyd too, who is a bit melancholic with the various suicide attemptsthat he wants to take as a character after he (wrongly) notices that his great flame is dating someone else.
A short film that actually consists of three parts. First of all, Lloyd's creative spirit by creating work for the practice where his sweetheart works and then ending with the nice height scenes on that poutrel. What is the correct Dutch word for this by the way?
Anyone who likes Lloyd's films is definitely worth watching!

Harold at his best.
As bad as he is in his suicide attempts, he is just as good in his breakneck (but he doesn't break anything) feats.
Good and funny on the whole and...luckily in the end he stays with both feet on the ground in love. In the nick of time, as always.
