BAC Nord plot
In the year 2012, the north of Marseille holds the record for crime rates in France. The BAC Nord brigade is trying to suppress crime in this area. The agents are constantly adapting their methods and sometimes even breaking the rules. One day the justice system will turn against them.

Solid film that shows that the deterioration in society that we know so well from American films and series is also fully underway in Europe. This movie is based on true events and that doesn't make you happy. Criminals and youth who no longer have any respect for authority and police who have their hands full with petty crimes.
The story is very meticulously portrayed from start to finish, which means that especially the beginning is quite boring. Anyone who is waiting for a lot of action will be disappointed. There is certainly a lot of time for drama in the first half. The action is very realistic but not particularly spectacular. The emphasis is really on the story and in that sense the film certainly succeeds.

Hard-hitting action movie in which three police officers in Marseille fight the drug traffickers, but always get frustrated that they can do little or nothing against the drug crime in the banlieues. There is a wonderfully wrought-up atmosphere in the film with excellent camera work. The three main characters play their roles convincingly and Adèle Exarchopoulos plays the wife of one of the agents. Plus point is the realism, but also the omission of superfluous sentiment. The lock is also an example of this. Just the way it is, low fuss and no room for all kinds of action moments that could turn in favor of the three agents. And that can be disappointing for most. 7/10
