The Stand In plot

"Steal the spotlight."

Candy is a downtrodden movie star who is arrested for tax evasion. As punishment, she has to follow drug addiction treatment and comes up with the idea to hire her former substitute Paula. The tasks eventually expand to all the unpleasant tasks in life that Candy doesn't feel like doing. What she did not count on, however, is that Paula is gradually taking over her entire life.
