When I read the short content, I thought, well that's my thing, can be fun. But soon realized that this was going to turn out very differently. I found it strange, but not fun strange, a really annoying movie. Was a long drive to sit out with annoying main character. There's another one who liked him: me!
For the connoisseurs: a film that starts with the 'Flower duet' actually immediately indicates what it will eventually end up with. Just think back to the end of Dennis Hopper's interrogation during The Sicilian Scene in the film True Romance (1993).
Hogar's story has been filmed before, but in this version boundaries are still being explored.
You could think of 3 more alternative endings, but this version is good as it is. Just short of 4 stars because of that unnecessary sidestep with that sick gardener. Enjoyed the rest!

Well acted but unrealistic thriller. Not well constructed and messy. The situation with the gardener was really ridiculous. Only after 3/4 of the film did the story and the intentions of that little creepy filou become clearer. It could have been a very good thriller if a little more thought had been put into it.
