Malcolm X was shot and killed in the Audubon Ballroom in Upper Manhattan on February 21, 1965. Five men from the Nation of Islam's Temple No. 25 in Newark formed the murder squad. The only person arrested at the scene was 23-year-old Talmadge Hayer, who was shot in the leg by one of Malcolm's bodyguards. The other four fled and were never chased for the murder. Now, decades after the assassination of the African-American leader, activist Abdur Rahman Muhammad embarks on a complex mission to uncover the truth in the name of justice.
