Hong Se Niang Zi Jun plot
In the 1930s, Wu Qionghua is the maidservant of Nan-ba-tian, a cruel warlord of a village on Hainan Island. Frequently abused by her master, Qionghua is eventually rescued by Hong Changqing, leader of the Red Women's Brigade - a group of female soldiers. She joins the group and becomes the leader of this brigade after Hong's death.
