Nice film about a woman who learns new things about her mother after she has passed away. Two love stories from two different generations that are told here in parallel. It doesn't really mean much, but the film is well cast and it all flows along in a nice way. A small 3.0 stars.

Spurred on in part by journalist Michael [LaKeith Stanfield], Mae [Issa Rae] delves into the past of her recently deceased mother [Chanté Adams], with whom she had little contact. As they discover the turbulent love affair between Christine and Mae's likely father Isaac [Y'lan Noel], a romance blossoms between Mae and Michael.
