Saudi Arabia is one of the most dangerous places in the world for women. Nevertheless, Basma Khalifa, a British stylist with Saudi roots, decides to move there. She goes to live with three aunts in the more 'liberal' Jeddah, but the strict legislation and social rules - which have become less strict since the reign of the new crown prince - ensure that she comes into contact with the authorities again and again.
