Min of Meer plot

Kontraregem is a small village with people who are actually all more or less sinners. The mayor and pastor of the village have been at odds for a long time. This reaches a climax when young couples make love in the entrance gate of shoemaker Frans Nagel. The pastor wants Frans to close this "gate of sins" immediately. However, the mayor has a different opinion.
