The rebellious Satu and Heidi have been best friends for years. Together they sabotage chic weddings based on superficial relationships, because love can't be bought. A hitch threatens to come when Heidi falls head over heels in love with talented ice hockey player Lauri Mäntyvaara. Lauri's mother opposes this because she sees a glorious future for her son in the North American ice hockey league. Although Satu feels abandoned by Heidi, she wants to help her friend. But things are not going smoothly and what about her own romantic feelings?
