Love Is a Broadway Hit plot

The new musical Mulan is in the pipeline on Broadway. The lead role can be played by either a man or a woman. Up-and-coming actors Qi Bai and Weidong Song, who know each other from a movie scene in Times Square, are both auditioning for the lead role. Getting this role is vital for both of them, especially for Qi Bai because her visa for America has expired. Without a job, she has to go back to China.
